Winterize your Skin

Drying, cracking, flaking ... harsh winter weather can play havoc with your skin. Here are some winter skin tips that can help keep your body feeling smooth and silky:

Apply moisturizer as soon as you get out of a bath or shower. If your skin is still damp, the lotion will help "lock in" the moisture.

Don't forget your lips. Using a lip conditioner containing borage oil and calendula helps the delicate lip tissue fend off winter abuse. Apply under lipstick for extra moisture.

Wear well-fitting shoes with socks or stockings to help keep the skin on your feet smooth.

Be sure you are well moisturized before venturing outside to help to keep your skin protected. Keep in mind that winter sunlight is just as damaging to the skin as those sunny summer rays, so sun protection should remain a part of your beauty routine.

Exfoliate your skin on a regular basis to prevent the build-up of dryness.
