in the restored Multnomah Hotel, which originally opened in 1912, the Embassy
Suites has a beautiful large lobby that is a masterpiece of gilded plasterwork,
successfully conjuring up the hotel's heyday. The accommodations here are primarily
two-room suites, with the exception of a handful of studio suites. In keeping
with the historic nature of the hotel, the suites have classically styled furnishings.
However, what's much more important is that they give you lots of room to spread out, a rarity in downtown hotels, which tend to have fairly small units.
